With lipofilling, the body's own fatty tissue is transplanted from one area of the body to the other. In this process, fat is removed from one place (e.g. on the stomach) in order to inject it again into another place, e.g. the face. This method is suitable for filling in wrinkles on the face (e.g. frown lines, forehead lines, corners of the eyes, nasolabial folds), injecting under-eye circles, giving the cheek areas more volume, emphasizing certain areas of the face (e.g. cheekbones) and rejuvenating hands. Lipofilling is also suitable for correcting dents after an unsuccessful liposuction or injection of medication.
